UnMute Us!
<\/strong>The task I had at unmute us is picking up resouces at the back of the walk. This means that for the time I was participating in this event I had to pick up trash from the floor and throw it away to keep everything clean. I had no idea that people could have so much trash, it gave me insight into how much trash there could actually be on a festival.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

\n

Forgotten festival
<\/strong>This is a festival that is created by one of our classmates. We got to the festival grounds a bit early so we actually helped with some fencing and decorations before our actual job at the festival started. The rest of the evening we did bar work, this showed me just how much work goes into a festival and all the things that can go wrong during the evening. Because the organizer is a classmate we got a bit of insight of what goes on behind the scenes at a festival.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

\n

Elrow
<\/strong>The task I had at Elrow was scanning QR codes. The task itself is pretty repetitive since you will be doing the same things for some hours after each other. I think however it was interesting to see that it takes so many people to get everyone inside the festival in a safe and fast manner.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>
\n

Goedzooi
<\/strong>The assignment for Goedzooi is more of a creative assignment we worked on together with the company. For this assignment we had to create a concept and work it out fully so that it could be used in the future. This assignment thought me that I am not completely interested in the creative side of a project.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

\n

Future your History
<\/strong>Future your History is a project I worked on outside of school. It is an event for the future of Eindhoven. For this event I was part of the people that organized it, because the event was not really related to the industry so I put less hours in then the actual number. From working on this event I learned a lot on certain topics.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

\n

Paaspop
<\/strong>Together with some students we visited the build up of Paaspop. We got a tour of the ground and some backstage parts of the festival. It showed insight of how many things have to be build up. We also got a look into the security area, this was very nice since this was something completely new.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

\n

Effenaar
<\/strong>Together with our class we got a very nice tour through Effenaar, a venue in Eindhoven. In this tour we got to see the whole venue and ask all the questions we wanted to ask. It was very interesting to see inside a venue since this is not something I had seen personally before this.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

\n

Amsterdam trip
<\/strong>During the Amsterdam trips we visited a few different companies. This day thought me that the live music and dance events industry has more perspectives and job opportunities as I thought. I think it showed me insight of different companies and possibilities that I can pursue in the future.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

\n

Local buddy
<\/strong>This activity includes a lot of small things I actually have done. It goes from guiding students to helping them with small questions, but also to having fun together and making them feel at home. This experience thought me a lot about different cultures and how to deal with this.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Backstage crew
<\/strong>Backstage crew is the group we created with fellow students in the beginning of the year. Is is a group with motivated students to organize activities for the MADE community. With this group we organized the open day and where planning to organize way more activities. In the end we had some great ideas but failed to realize them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n

Dancetour
<\/strong>Together with our group for productions and logistics we had to visit Dancetour Breda. During this visit we had to analyse the crowd and the festival grounds. The visit made me look differently at a festival with a more critical look of how the festival ground is build up and designed.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

MADE event
<\/strong>Our MADE live event is an event we had to set up according to a school assignment. From the organization of this event I have learned that not everything goes according to plan, and that it is important to keep close contact with your fellow organizers and stakeholders.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
